Audi
Rings reimagined.

Audi is preparing for its most ambitious challenge yet, to compete in Formula 1 2026, with a new series of films joining the race for Audi’s official sponsorship of Formula 1 on Sky Sports.
Four Rings
Audi’s engineering is reimagined in the iconic rings, a world where you can see all the sophisticated materials and mechanisms carefully interacting with composition, light, and animation.

The films transform carbon-fibre waves, polished ceramic and the mechanisms of engineering, connecting the worlds of Formula 1 and Audi RS performance models. Fusing cinematic visuals with rich sounds connects each shot to bring a cohesive and dynamic film, offering a sensorial experience to viewers.

The idents are premiering on Sky Sports F1 for the 2025/26 season, offering Formula 1 fans a glimpse into Audi’s design philosophy.
Research and Development

The dedicated experimental phase enabled us to explore and test various visual approaches to determine the most effective way to represent the rings. We approached the rings like a sculpture, sourcing the best angles inside the rings without distorting their shape and painting the elegance and intricate design of Audi.

Real-life observations were a key element in helping us build the visual journey, visiting the Audi production lines to talk to experts and study the cars, touching the materials and taking macro shots enabled us to capture the right proportions and textures in CGI.

To incorporate Formula 1 into the final films, we watched a lot of references from how the engine moves at high speed to pit stop videos, observing the pace and energy. This influenced the overall pacing by having moments of tension and release, reflecting braking and acceleration.
